New Year Event was organized on December 13, 2008 where the annual performance was assessed and “The best” Awards given. More then 100 people representing NBFIs have participated including invited head of FRC, senior officials from MNCCI and some organizations have given their awards to the people.

Traditional event to identify the Top 100 Enterprises of the Year being organised by  Government of Mongolia jointly with Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) was held on April 10, 2009. During it the Top-10 NBFIs have been identified and certifications handed. Following NBFIs have received TOP-10 NBFIs award:

Credit Mongol NBFI, Transcapital, Mungunguur, BID, Gazar partners, Tuv khugjil, Khugjil finance, New fond, Shine tugrug, Sar shine international NBFI.

Lecture was held on “Custodian service and investment management activities” by Phillip Jonson, the specialist from IMF, on April 8, 2009.

Meeting was held with Ms. Oyunchimeg, the chief, and Ms. Oyunbileg, the deputy chief of Financial Regulatory Committee (FRC) jointly with MNCCI on April 6, 2009. Exchange rate policy and NBFIs’ positions regarding the exchanges (change outlets) going to be re-organized into NBFIs have been heard and challenges the NBFIs currently face were delivered to the FRC during the meeting where 31 NBFIs have participated.
